I received a couple of emails from Dropbox saying the I was short of storage space and needed to pay to upgrade my account.

I have just checked my Dropbox account and apart from one video file all the other files I had stored there have gone. Am I correct in thinking that because I chose not to sign up for a paid subscription that Dropbox have just deleted all my files? Is there no longer a free option? Very disappointing that they did not have the courtesy to inform me that all my files would be deleted if I didn't sign up for a paid subscription.

Hi @Citybird, thanks for messaging the Community!

Could you check to ensure that the email address is definitely the same as the one you received the email to?

Do you see anything on this page?

This will help me to assist further!
