hi there i had a file on dropbox for years an all of a sudden it’s gone i can’t find it anywhere can anyone help?

When was the last time you could access this file on www.dropbox.com?
Have you already checked your Deleted files and Events pages?

Do you have any other email addresses? If yes, I suggest you check if there’s a Dropbox account linked to them. The file could be saved there instead.
If not, what’s the current plan you see here? If you’re on a free Basic or Plus plan, which offer a 30-day file recovery window, and the file was deleted about a year ago, then I’m afraid it can’t be restored.

It sounds like either the file was deleted, or the account itself @matt04.
Feel free to check for any other emails to see what you can find there though.
