I tried the Help section but could not find an answer to my really simple question.

How do I make a copy with a new name of my Paper Doc.  I want to let others edit the original but want a backup.

Thanks,

Alofbk

Hi there, currently it isn’t possible to duplicate a Paper doc.

You can however copy and paste the contents of a doc to another blank doc for backup reasons.

Hope this helps!

It would be great to be able to copy a Paper doc or save it as a copy. Example use case would be if I'm creating a derivative version of an existing doc and need to keep the two docs separate moving forward.

👋 Hey @zekay2000, thanks for posting your request here! I’m just wondering if you’ve had a chance to look into the :memo: Paper Templates feature (Note: I’ve created a walkthrough here that could be useful).

You may have a look at your earliest convenience & let me know if that’s what you were looking for or you have any additional questions. Enjoy the rest of your day until we talk again!

Hi @Jane

Thanks for the answer. Yes, I saw that you have Templates, but it seems like overkill for what I'm looking for, as there's no need to ever create more than one copy.
