Help with moving files from one account to a new account

My club has been asked to buy its own dropbox storage and move all the shared files we have onto it.  Is there a way of doing this without changing all the people the folders are shared with (and losing any important information) please?

Hey @Rugs, thanks for using Dropbox and happy Friday!

If this about shared folders, the easiest way would be to change the ownership of the folders by using these steps

Similarly, if you have any individual files you'd like to move, you can put them in a folder and share the folder with the new account and then transfer the ownership as mentioned and remove your access from it using these steps, if needed.

I hope this helps!
