I got the following e-mail::" You recently deleted 3261 files from your Dropbox account. I have time to restore it until 30/10/2023.
These are the files you deleted:
2016-07-21- Passport Requirement for Minorspdf and 3260 files
30/9/2023 7:51 PM using Windows 10 19045.
I must admit I am a total illiterate in Dropbox, so far all the hints I found didn't fruit. I urgently ask for professional help,thank you
Hey @Kuede! Have you checked your Events page and Deleted files page for these files?
Can you see more details on their deletion, and restore them from these pages?
The email you received should also have a link for you to see all of the files that have been deleted from your Dropbox account.

Unfortunately I haven't had any success yet. To get to the bottom of the matter, I tried the following: I intentionally deleted a file in order to find it in "deleted files" or in events. Surprisingly, I didn't find any entries. Might this hint help?
I deleted a file in my Dropbox Plus, but it doesn't appear in the "deleted Files" nor in "the event"
How long ago was it deleted @Kuede ?
Was it in a Share?

Where did you delete on a computer or via the website?
If on a computer is that computer connected and syncing to Dropbox?
If via the web you haven't also permanently deleted it have you?
