Exporting an Index of Folder and File Names

Exporting an Index of Folder and File Names

Dear Dropbox,

I would like to export an index folder and file names in the same heirarchical as they appear in DB, ideally in excel format.

Could you advise on how to do this?

Thank you

Dropbox has no such feature. If you're syncing all of your folders and files to your computer, use the tools in your operating system to generate a list of your local Dropbox folder.

Does anyone know if there is a way to report on all the folders you have in dropbox?

Just a list of all of them would be good.

Hi @JYted, I've merged your post here so you can see the suggestion by @Rich on how to generate a report.

Use the software call EVERYTHING, there you search all files on dropbox folder, copy and then on File "copy full name to clipboard" open an excel sheet and paste. after you can use a excel formula to separate text to columns.
