Deleted Dropbox on Mac (per Support instructions), now my Downloads an Documents folders are gone.
I was having trouble with backing up my computer to Dropbox -- I got an error message that the folders I wanted to back up were not in their default locations. I hadn't moved them, so I don't know what was going on. I sent a message to Dropbox support, and the person who contacted me advised me to delete and reinstall Dropbox. I deleted the app, and now all the folders I was trying to back up, including my Documents and Downloads folders, are gone. I can't access them on Dropbox in deleted files because the backup wasn't working (which is why I contacted Dropbox in the first place). Is there anything I can do to get these things back?

I suggest going back to Dropbox support and asking for help here I'm afraid.
