Can I restore files from a backup?

I lost 80% of all my documents, 90% of 18,000 photos, 95% of personal music titles when transferring files to iCloud.

Is it possible to restore a backup?

I will also pay to get those precious family photos back.

Sorry to hear about your files, garybowler777.

Did you previously have Dropbox backup enabled on your Dropbox application?

If so, are you able to see your backed up files here?

Make sure to check out this article as well.

Let me know how it goes.

      Hannah,

Thanks for taking the time to respond! It is sincerely appreciated. I followed the instructions but because I never activated the option to back up Dropbox, I assume they are lost.

I'm quite amazed that after subscribing to Dropbox for more than 10 years, that requesting a backup to the backup device is an option or required.

Thanks again and hope you're having a good day! 🙂

Hi garybowler777, if you were transferring from the Dropbox folder into iCloud, then it's possible that the files could be visible on the deleted files page. Do you see anything there?
