Why is syncing slow after reorganizing documents?

I was trying to upload 125 low res images into a folder and while uploading those, I thought about reorganizing some old documents.
These old docs were already uploaded and the only thing I changed was a folder within its main folder. I didn't add or delete anything.

After reorganizing that old documents, Dropbox app showed me a 11 hours estimate for the 125 low res images to upload.
This usually takes less than 5 minutes here.

Dropbox, PLEASE add some kind of upload priority feature.
I don't see why I should wait for some old files that are already synced, instead of prioritizing new and more urgent files.

Sorry in advance for my English. Not my native language.

Hi pedrobucher, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you check your bandwidth settings in the Dropbox desktop application to see if they are restricted in any way?

This will help me to assist further!

      Unrestricted. Always been.

I've already asked for a feature like this and got the topic archived.

Has there been any change in the syncing status of the app? What happens if you make another change?

Do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
