My c:\ drive is for system files and my d:\ drive is for data. Before purchasing the Plus plan, I moved the Dropbox folder to the d:\ drive and I also moved Pictures, Videos and Documents to the d;\ drive. When I checked "Manage Backups" and selected the Pictures, Videos, and Documents folders, all the subfolder information was there. I could not actually perform a backup because those folders were too large for the Basic plan. When I upgraded to the Plus plan, and began the backup, I received an error message that the folders (Videos, etc.) were not in the default location. If I can't back up folders on the d:\ drive, Dropbox Backup will be useless to me. I do not need to backup any files on the c drive. Any help is appreciated.
Dropbox can, unfortunately, only back up files in its default locations. This is because the software itself moves them around and into its directory and puts links in the original locations.
