I sync all my photos using the Dropbox app on my iPhone - it works great. But all the slow motion video files lose the ability to change the slow motion settings in quicktime. When I transfer on my mac using Image Capture, it keeps all the settings so I can change in the future. Is there a setting to make sure the file is imported with all the correct information to give me the same flexibility Image Capture does?
Thank you so much.
Hey @Paul R.81, thanks for reaching out.
Have you tried our camera uploads feature bu through the Dropbox desktop app?
You can see more about it and how to enable it here.

Hi @Paul R.81, when you mentioned you were uploading files via the Dropbox mobile app, was this via the automatic camera upload feature, or by manually uploading the videos?

Hello Jay
It is via the automatic camera upload feature. I have looked to upload the video as you point this out but the app doesn't let me - it only shows photos. How do I upload a video?
Thanks.
Hi @Paul R.81,
I'd like to jump in here if you don't mind.
When you're in the Dropbox mobile app, tap "+" and choose "Upload photos".
If you don't get to see any videos from there, after "Upload photos", at the top, choose "Album" instead of "Photos" and go via the different albums like Camera roll, Screenshots, Videos and so on.
Hope that helps!

Thank you Calvin. This works in regards to uploading the video. However, the same issue remains. If i upload via automated camera uploads or individual through the app - none of them retain the ability to change the slow motion settings in quicktime.
Is there any other way to backup to Dropbox that does?
Thank you all so much.
Paul
Could you try uploading the file by following the steps under 'How to upload other types of files' in the previous article I posted?
