Red circle with a white “X” in it

Red circle with a white “X” in it

When I put a file in the Dropbox folder I get a red circle with a white “X” in it next to the file and the file does not transfer to the Dropbox folder on my other computers? This just started happening. I am paid up through the end of February.

Hey @DonaldFrancis - sorry to hear about this.

A red circle with a white “X” means that your file or folder can’t update or sync. If you just attempted to add this file or folder to your Dropbox account, it may mean that it can’t be added.

In that case, you can start by taking a look at this Help Center article

If that doesn't help, please let me know the desktop app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar/system tray along with your computer's OS version.

In any case, please keep me posted, Donald.
