Pause sync and resume sync have disappeared!
In the past, there was always the ability to pause sync so that I could upload a backup from an existing file. Now there is a new version of Dropbox (99.3.488). The pause sync and resume sync capabil...

it's not gone. but it's stupidly hidden now. On Mac, if you click on the Dropbox icon in the menu bar, and then click on the blue spinning wheel at the bottom of the menu, you get the option to pause syncing for 30 minutes, an hour or until tomorrow. I looked everywhere and thought as well that this was gone. It's just placed weirdly.

You should be able to see the option to pause syncing when you hover your mouse over the status of the desktop app in your system tray.
Can you give this a go and let us know if it works for you?

Hi Walter-- thanks for the reply! It's really strange, but on the day I posted here, there was a period of time where the pause option wasn't showing up when I moused over the icon in the system tray... but then sometime later it was magically back (??). No idea but just thankful the feature hasn't been removed! Thanks again.
