After my other team member opens and edits a file -- I will go into the same file and get this error message " We found a problem with some content in 'filename.xlsx'. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.
The only way to recover this file is to go onto the web and clip recover file. I am also running into the problem where all the snipped images from the other team member show up as 'UNKNOWN!' on my end when I open the file.
I am having a hard time getting a hold of anyone from dropbox that can help.
Hey there @Elmdesign - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you please clarify if you're working on a shared folder or a team folder since you mentioned another team member?
Also, how is your collaborator editing the file in the first place and from where you're accessing it?
Any additional information or screenshots are more than welcome!

Hi Walter,
These are team folders. We work for the same company. They are not shared files. We are both accessing it through the dropbox folder. I have included some screenshot as well! Both of the problem I am having are with excel documents. The same file.
Do you get any different results if you access the file from the website directly @Elmdesign?
As for the images you mentioned that show up as unknown, could you clarify if your collaborator is importing them somehow to the file or if they're uploading them directly to the file you're editing?

She is uploading them directly into the file by dragging them from her desktop. I haven't tried using the website directly.
Hey @Elmdesign, could you try checking through the website directly too?
Also, if you quit the Dropbox app and then try to open the files, do you get the same error then?
