Hi,

I recently upgraded to Dropbox with File Provider on Mac OS (v197.4.7571). It seems consistent that the last 10 files won't sync. I tried quiting and restarting the app but that doesn't help. If I reboot it does seem to help. I

I recently exported 16 new files. I've been waiting 20minutes and they won't upload. I can't seem to find a way to force the upload.

Thx Derek

Hi @dal72, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

What is the current status of the Dropbox desktop application when you view it from the menu bar?

Also, what is the current version of Mac OS and the Dropbox app? I'd love to know how long the app is stuck in this syncing limbo too.

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

How long has it been stuck? I've just started testing but over an hour at this point. Yesterday it was stuck stuck and only rebooting could get it going again.

Hey @dal72, thanks for the speedy response!

Keep in mind that after the migration to the new Dropbox for macOS on File Provider, your files need to be re-synced. Depending on the amount of files you have in your Dropbox, this may take some time to complete.

If the number of files has not reduced it might be worth checking out the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article.

Also, can you check the info inside your Dropbox folder, and then Get info to let me know how many files do you have there?
