I've been using the email to dropbox function pretty consistently for a few months now. Just today I noticed it doesn't seem to be working. I have an application setup to email invoices to my dropbox email for later processing. The emails I sent this morning did not hit my folder (but the emails and files did go out). I tested it by sending an email from my regular email and the file I attached again did not make it to my folder. I confirmed the dropbox email hasn't been changed and I don't see anything on the dropbox status page about this being an issue.
Just to add that this seems to have resolved itself overnight. The files have arrived in my Dropbox overnight

My files arrived overnight too.
I did a test this morning and it took 1 hour + for the file to reach Email Attachments.
However, on a further test just now it arrived instantly, so seems resolved for the minute.
Never had Email to Dropbox glitch out on me like this before. Would be a shame if it were to become a frequent occurrence, as it is a useful tool, but it needs to be reliable: All the time.
Seems like it may be working again. @ocHoco I completely agree with the need for reliability. I use this function dozens of times a day and up until yesterday it worked flawlessly.
Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well!
I checked in with our Team, and it seems that the issue is resolved and everything is back to normal.
If you still face any problems with this, let me know. Thanks!

Gmail sends forwarding w/ pdf attachment but nothing shows up in the folder.
If you're forwarding to the Dropbox email address it won't work. You need to email that address directly.
Hi @IA Accounting,
Thanks for letting us know this is still affecting you. The root cause for the widespread problem with Email to Dropbox was resolved, but it looks like some users may still be experiencing problems and we're currently looking into it. Our engineering team is aware.
As Rich said above, make sure you're sending directly to the email you've set up for Email to Dropbox.
Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime, and I'll update here when I know more!
Regards,
Ben
This happened on the day I introduced this functionality to our users. Waiting for two days would have resolved the problem. Instead I created a new email and folder. It's working again. I did still have problems, when others already reported that the problem was gone for them. Thanks for the follow up.
Jumping in here too, I have set up up new email address after my original did not work, and still nothing is coming in to my dropbox. Not even seeing and 'attachment' folder. Have used the most up to date dropbox email and have sent from outlook and gmail, both with no success
