I have D for B. Dropbox makes windowes explorer very slow. If I pause syncing or exit dropbox it is fine. Slow as in renaming a file can take 20 seconds.
I have a dell precision 7710 with windwos 10.
My drive is a Samsung 970 Pro SSD
40GB Ram
Any ideas?
Although I do not want to do it, will uninstalling and reinstalling DB help? Or are there temp files I can clean out?

This has been going on for a while with previous versions as well. I thought it was my SSD, but I upgraded from a 960 Pro to a 970 Pro and the same issue.

Windows Explorer properties shows 90,300 files, 4,494 Folders, 347GB.
I have another system with around 3TB of data and do not have this issue.
Hey @Rinconman - thank you for the additional information!
As a first step in this case, I would give this article a thorough read and I would also try changing my bandwidth settings to see if this is what's causing this problem.
Hope this gets you going and do keep me posted on how this goes.

no luck
Hey @Rinconman - sorry for the tardy response.
Are you still having this issue? Have you tried the advanced re-install you mentioned?
Let me know where you stand and we'll take it from there.

I just did it. One note is the uninstall removed all the files in teh following so there was no DB folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%
%APPDATA%
%PROGRAMFILES%
%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%
It is still resynching.
I did not delete my files, so it does not need to re-download, but synching is taking some time.
