Dropbox Backup only allows you to backup a few selected folders, why can't I choose another folder?

Dropbox Backup allows backing up only few selected folders, like Desktop, Downloads, Documents, etc.

I'm interested in backing up my user's AppData, which is also in my user's folder.

Why Dropbox Backup wouldn't let me select this folder? Or any other folder of my choosing, for that matter?

Hi @Jebarkas, thanks for messaging the Community.

Currently, only specific system folders can be backed up to the site, namely those in the Home folder, as mentioned here.

It wouldn't be possible to backup folders from any other location on your machine at this time. However, there may be some other third party apps or services that could help in backing up these other folders to Dropbox.
