I have this same issue, 8 hours from now 3 devices with Dropbox auto-update quit syncing. Disappeared from the menu bar. Advanced re-install does not cure the issue. Normal delete and re-install does not cure the issue. Re-starting the Dropbox app does nothing, Activity Monitor on Mac OS X shows that it quits responding as soon as I re-launch it.
TL;DR - right now I am paying for a multi-device cloud sync service that does not work, at all.

I am having the same issue. I have reinstalled several times. The program starts, then it drops from the top icon bar and sync disappears. You can not relaunch the desktop app. Mac Desktop App Version v177.3.5390

Hey CWPetroleum, I hope you're doing well!
Do you get any specific errors when you start-up the app? If so, feel free to share them with us here. You can send the full .txt file back to me.
If it's a different kind of error, a screenshot would be most helpful.
One last thing: it seems you're using our beta version of the app. Can you access your account's settings online, and turn Early releases off? Once you do that, please re-install the app, without uninstalling anything.
Keep me posted!
