Can dropbox be used as a server for video?
I work for a small company and we recently added a second video producer to help with content creation. Currently both producers have their own external hard drives that they work off of, but we are getting into the situation where they will need to be using the same footage for various projects. Does anyone else use Dropbox as a file storage service where multiple people are accessing the same footage? If not Dropbox for our situation, does anyone have any other recommendations?

Hi mdo321, thanks for contacting us!
If the files are in a shared folder, provided that you all have accounts on plans that are large enough to store the content, then those users can access the files in that folder.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

Hey mdo321,
Thanks for posting here on the Dropbox Community! I just wanted to let you know about the new Dropbox Replay group we launched recently. I know you're question is not directly related to Replay, but as it's a tool used for video I thought this group could be a good place to go and find out if others are using Dropbox in the way you have asked about. It could be a good place to get some advice and ideas from other people working in your industry. You can get into the group by following this link and if you click the "Join group hub" button, you'll be kept up to date on what's happening in there.
Thanks again, and have a great day!
Graham
