Can I back up my computer files and have them accessible on other devices?

Can I back up my computer files and have them accessible on other devices?

I recently purchased a new iMac, and would love to set up my desktop the same way as I did with my laptop (also Mac). My primary working files & folders are on my desktop, and are synced to dropbox so that I can also access them elsewhere. I don't recall how I set it up, but after much googling Obviously used Dropbox Backup. How can I get my desktop to function the same way?

Much appreciated!

Unfortunately you probably cant - backup no longer offers that as a function and so will stop working on the old machine shortly. They changed it when it moved out of Beta

Backup now does not have any syncing capabilities and instead it is just a backup tool where files cannot be opened/edited etc.
