Hi All,
Question on DropBox Backup - Is this restricted to Windows folders only? It only allows the backup of Documents, Pictures etc.
Another query, does DropBox restricting backing up on C:\ drive only? I have two drives on my PC, C:\ and D:\. However, I can't choose to backup anything on D:\ drive.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for posting your questions here, @Charsiu!
Are you using the updated version of Dropbox Backup? If yes, you should be able to back up any folder that’s located within your device’s home folder.
If not, here’s how you can update to the latest version.
As for your second question, I’m afraid backing up is restricted to the main C:\ drive at the moment indeed. The only other option available is to back up an external hard drive instead.
I can pass your feedback on this though to our team, if you wish.
I’ll be here, if you need something else.

Hi @Charsiu
While this is not supported directly by Dropbox, there are third-party products which extend the functionality of the Dropbox desktop app beyond just the Dropbox folder and the C:\ drive, making it possible for you to sync or backup any folder to Dropbox.
Hope this helps,

Hi Andrew,
Are you able to share this with me?
Sure, I've had success using Boxifier for this.
