Unable to link dropbox desktop client in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - "Invalid URL"

I've installed dropbox on my desktop from the .deb. On opening it, I click the drop down and firefox opens to a URL like   https://www.dropbox.com/cli_link_nonce?nonce=4217fadb61d996a55bdec9ec41e...

    I solved it, it was spawning background firefox instances at the same time that were using the nonce before it was then opening it in the foreground and showing me the error. I killed the process spawning the background firefox instances and it suddenly worked

Having this issue on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Fedora 38, Pop!OS, the list goes on and on.

 

I notice if I use the command line version of linking it gives a different link every five seconds. That doesn't seem right.

Same problem here with a fresh install of Linux Mint.

I use to install easily dropbox inlinux for the last years quite often so, PLEASE, dropbox technical service, tell us how to solve this issue. I'm a business customer.
