Í have a PC with Windows 11 & am looking to reduce space. I used to be able to right click in my Dropbox Essentials account, and have a selective sync option of online only. For some reason that has disappeared. I still want to see the files, but have them stored in the cloud. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting, but nothing works. Can anyone help please as I'm getting frustrated with it. Thanks you!

Can you see any of the Dropbox context menu items, or is it just Make online-only that's missing? Is the Dropbox application running? If not, none of the Dropbox context menu items would be visible.

Actually now you’ve said that I don’t think anything relevant to Dropbox is there now. How do I ensure it is running…I just presumed it did its thing if it was installed? Thanks

Make sure the Dropbox icon in your system tray. If you don't see it, launch Dropbox from the Start Menu.
