No more overlay icons in Windows Explorer

No more overlay icons in Windows Explorer

Since the las update to the Windows app this week, I don't see the overlay icons on any of my 3 computers, 2 Windows 10 and 1 Windows 11.

I check the order onthe registry and is ok, with the Dropbox entries above.

And now I see in Windows Explorer an status column with an icon con all the Dropbox content, like OneDrive. An in the ap there is no more option to keep all files offline like before.

The windows app is ruin, is like OneDrive now... awful.

I have a Plus plan.

Hi @sebastianvaldes, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you try reinstalling the app, without uninstalling it first, by using this link?

Keep me updated with any progress!

Yes, I already do it and nothing changes. Still no overlay icons and the status columns with icons are there:

It sounds like you're on the new Dropbox for Windows Experience. See here for more information:

I have disabled the early released along time ago, it must be the current release now.

If this "experience" is the path that the app will follow, I'm sorry but I will change to another cloud, this is not working for me anymore.

After you disable early releases, did you also uninstall and reinstall the latest stable build? If you only disabled early releases but already had a beta version installed, you'd continue to receive beta updates. You need to first disable early releases and then download and install a stable release to make sure you're off of the beta release cycle.

It does not mather if now is early access or beta, if the future of the app will be like this one, I don't like this service anymore.
