Re: Making dropbox use my D drive instead of C drive

Making dropbox use my D drive instead of C drive

I have been using Dropbox for some years on my old computer.  I am currently setting up a new computer with both a C(OS) drive and a D(Data) drive.  All the files I want are currently on Dropbox in the cloud.

I know that when I download the Dropbox Ap, it will want to download everything to my computer.  I want that to happen,

How do I make sure that when I download the Dropbox Ap, my dropbox folder is in D drive?

Thanks,

Ruth

Welcome aboard our Community, @RuthP!

After installing the Dropbox app on your new device and logging in, you should see an "Advanced Settings" link (right before you proceed to create the new Dropbox folder to sync your files). By clicking on this option, you can pick where you’d like this Dropbox folder to be located on your computer.

Hope this helps.
