Fix Mac Update – Please!

Please, please, please Dropbox – can you fix the Mac update – specifically if you click the icon the make files available offline, enable you to make them online only before they've finished downloading as this also having the effect of completely filling my hard drive and killing my internet connection which is having massive repercussions on getting things done!

Can you please clarify if you're referring to the changes outlined here? 

If not, I'd appreciate some additional information, such as your computer's exact OS, the status and version of the desktop app as shown in your menu bar and also clarify the type and size of files you're having issues with.
