Dropbox stops working randomly & no longer opens on its own.

Hey everyone -

 

I've been experiening this recently that Dropbox no longer opens on its own when I start my desktop and then it will randomly stop syncing in my workday. I can't make it work again unless I turn my computer off and on again. It is very frustrating. Ant ideas what it could be?

Hi @emzoe1, I hope you're doing well!

 

Can you clarify the app version of the Dropbox app you’re running on your device? Also, feel free to let me know your device's OS. 

 

Also, did you make sure that the "Start Dropbox on system startup” in your app preferences is enabled? 

 

Finally, have you also tried to uninstall & re-install the app at all?

 

Let me know, and we’ll take it from there.
