Dropbox hangs at "Starting..." and on startup, it says I am not connected to the internet.

Hi,

I have a problem with the Dropbox Mac App.

  1. I can use the Web and Windows App normally.
  2. Dropbox hangs at "Starting..." and on startup, it says I am not connected to the internet.
  3. I can normally connect to the internet, and even with multiple changes of WiFi, hotspot, and LAN, I'm still encountering the same problem.
  4. I'm using Dropbox version 206.4.6506 on an M1 Mac Pro with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1.

Does anyone know what is happening with this problem?

      I've tried restarting, reinstalling, and resetting my Mac's network.

        Hey yjw0510, sorry to hear about this.

         

        Do you perhaps have any security programs running, like an antivirus, VPN, firewall, etc. that could be causing this?

         

        If so, can you disable them temporarily, to see if that solves the issue? Feel free to let me know when this started happening too.
