Dropbox doesn't work correctly after upgrading computer to Windows 11

Hi all..I have a rather complicated scenario;

I bought a new Windows PC running Windows 10 3 years ago. The PC had the usual C drive, but I opted to install Dropbox on the second D drive where I hoped to keep most of my apps. Everything worked beautifully. Also have Dropbox on my laptop and phone.

The option came up to upgrade my PC to Windows 11. After holding out for almost a year I gave in and upgraded. Dropbox became buggy/stopped working (I can't recall exactly). So I uninstalled the app from my D drive, rebooted, and installed a fresh copy of DB on my C drive. The app shows up on my program list and as an icon on my Desktop. But when I click on the icon nothing happens. I have uninstalled/reinstalled several times with the same results. DB runs perfectly on my other devices.

I am suspecting something is corrupted in my Registry due to the first install on Drive D.

Any one out there have the answer?? I have almost 10GB of free DB due to promos, etc., and I REALLY like this program vs other cloud apps.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to see that you're having this issue, @MikeF44224.

Can you try the steps here for a more advanced reinstall of the Dropbox app and let me know if that helps?

Thanks!
