Go into Windows Settings/Apps/Startup and make sure Windows hasn't disabled the startup of Dropbox.

Oh dear! This morning it's still set correctly but Dropbox didn't start up on it's own.

Hi Neil_Stanley, If you're not on a
Dropbox Basic plan with more than
3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in
this link?

Hi Neil_Stanley , sorry to jump in here!
When you access your app's preferences, in the General tab, there should be an option to start Dropbox on system startup. Can you ensure that the option is checked?
If that is indeed checked, then I'm afraid you'd need to do an advanced reinstall as Jay suggested, while unlinking some of your devices.

Nothing in General - all other locations are ticked as start on start-up.
I'll have to try the full reinstall with both iOS systems detached from the account - might be a day or so.
