Downloading Dropbox app / installing updates

Downloading Dropbox app / installing updates

It is almost impossible to find the proper way to update my dropbox app on my Mac computer. I've been looping around and around the website trying to find a link to download the latest dropbox app and get it updated on my computer, because there is no option to update from within my existing dropbox app. There is also no clear "INSTALL DROPBOX APP" on the main pages of your site, just tons of advertisements about tons of features and things that are cluttering the space.

When I finally find a link on your site (from being logged in on web, clicking in top right drop down menu to luckily find one small gray line of text that says 'Install Dropbox app')-- it prompts me to first log in to my existing dropbox app. Upon trying to do that, the app tells me that my dropbox app isn't the latest version and needs to be updated. See how this is an infinite loop?

Not sure what I am supposed to do. Can anyone help?

This is because the Dropbox app will update automatically, provided nothing has been done to prevent that process from occurring. The only way to manually update is to simply install a newer version over the existing.

You can also look in the Client Builds section of the forums to find the latest versions, including the latest beta if you're into that sort of thing.
