After installing the new macOS Monterey I am getting the below error
Couldn't start Dropbox
This is usually because of a permissions error. Storing your home folder on a network share can also cause an error. For more information, click the help button below.
I tried to remove dropbox using instructions on the website and re-install using advance install and still see the error.
please assist
I am getting the same thing, which this is VERY BAD because I work remote sometimes and now everything I do in dropbox no one see's. It will not allow me to download the dropbox app. I get this error message!!! HELP!!!!!!!! DOES DROPBOX NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER??????? If I can't get this fixed than it will be very bad for me. I wish I took off the automatic update for my IMAC

This worked the full disk access. OMG you are a life saver!!!! jwhite711
It worked for me, try it again.
I've done all of these things, and also have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but to no avail. It wants to change permissions in a directory that doesn't exist, which is probably why it is crashing.
The advanced re-install from earlier in the thread did the trick for me. Yay!
Official solution nor any of the other offerings does not work on 12.2 for Desktop app crash
Reinstall from Web installers shows not change in Dropbox version and crashes continue
surely for such a huge company that sort of thing would be well tested by the time of a new OS release ?
Why has there NOT been a new version since Monterey release?
Thanks for this - been doing my nut in for weeks - uninstalling / re-installing and nothing.
All sorted by following this 👍🏻
For those of us who cant get a fix working, this was posted recently
