Can't find a recent file from my laptop, it isn't syncing.

I have 2 laptops that i work on, but I am unable to access a recent file from the other laptop.

Is Dropbox running on it?

 

What happens if you mouse over the Dropbox icon on both machines (on the status bar)? What does it say?

My asus laptop  has  the icon, my dell laptop does not have the icon.  the file I was looking for eventually appeared on my asus computer, but it was not available previously.

Hi @Denny Dellinger, I hope you're doing well! 

 

Glad to see that your file showed up on your device. However, if you can't locate your Dropbox icon on the task bar, next to your WiFi on the Dell laptop, then the app might not be up and running. 

 

Feel free to do a quick re-installation there.
