Blue Synching Light

Does anybody know why is the blue synching "light" constantly on?  It has been this way for about three weeks.  Nothing is actually synching but the 'light' is still on.

    If you click the Dropbox desktop application icon in the system tray near the clock, what message is showing on the bottom left?

     

    This will help me to assist further!
