I saw in the patch notes for the app on iOS that any suggestions could be brought to the forums, so I thought why not suggest this new feature. I use Dropbox primarily for audio files and sometimes when playing through them, it would be much more convenient to have playlists.

My company is a commercial music house. We use DB to share folders of music options (.wav files) with clients for their consideration re: licensing tracks for various projects. There are other products out there like DISCO that are dedicated music file sharing platforms. But we feel that Dropbox is a superior way of sharing and organizing files in general and we're mostly happy with it. The only thing really missing from our "client pull" workflow is the ability to play music tracks within a folder, (without having to open the link for each individual file then click back into the folder to view the next track.) If the folder functioned like a playlist does, allowing for playback within the folder window, our clients would have a much easier time auditioning tracks and evaluating them. And it would give the competition a run for their money, within the niche of audio.
From a UI perspective, this could be as simple as a playbutton where the .wav icon currently is or incorporated into the .wav icon (rough example below).
