Prevent Dropbox Passwords from saving passwords for certain sites
Is it possible to not save passwords for specific sites?
When I connect to work, I need to use a one time password that changes each time.
There is no reason to save this password.
Is there a way to specify sites that will not have their passwords saved?

I've upvoted this. I work for a number of companies and for a few their IT policy is that passwords are not saved anywhere. It would be great if I could easily stop dropbox saving passwords on certain domains to respect that

I don't want to remove dropbox password, but I think I'll have to. My bank passwords are only in my head. With dropbox password, if I leave my computer somewhere, my bank account could be drained with wire transfers.

True.. this is basic feature.
Only workaround for now is to disable this plugin in "Private Windows" and use private windows for sites which we do not want to save passwords 🙂

I also not want my banking account password being saved, I have it in my head. I use browsers as chrome or edge and firefox and for all browsers I can decide to say "never save this website password". Than I will not ask any more. That should also be possible for dropbox passwords, that makes things more convenient.
Same thing for dropbox passwords app
Thank you , I´ll support your idea
- KorbendallasNew member | Level 2I request improvement for the "Ask to save" feature. Please, add the checkbox "Do not ask again on this site". As I need to deny this window EACH time I login on the sites where I don't need to use Dropbox password.Thank you.

How do you get it to ask to save? Mine never asks to save, I have to manually enter each one.

Oh you’re talking in the extension. The mobile app doesn’t have that option. Maybe if I turn it on in the extension, my app will ask to save. I’ll give it a try. Thanks

I agree with this.
Especially with banking!
There should be a popup that asks you whether you want the dropbox password app to save the password as default and not the other way round.
Also anyone with access to your computer can click on the app manager, select the site and look at the password without needing a password! That defeats the purpose don't you think? As a default it's worse than Chrome's password manager.
My instinct is to disable this app

This is a necessary feature that should have been on the development roadmap from the start. Please implement it. It is astonishing I'm asked to upvote it.

How are developers themselves at Dropbox not going crazy with this?
I want to black list a bunch of domains, because everytime I log in with a test account when testing a website Dropbox goes on and saves it.
Even a "undo" button in the "password saved" notification would be helpful.

Finally, it's fixed. I now see this option 😀
