Permissions to upload and view without allowing editions/deletions
I have several computers with its own account that upload backup files daily. The problem is if someone is able to log into the computer and delete the files, it would be very troublesome. I know that dropbox has file recovery, but still it would be better if dropbox can give only view and add permission. Thanks.

We're on the same boat. We have a business account and need to grant users Add and View access but not delete access, otherwise the potential for accidental deletes is huge. Is there no way to do this yet???????????? This is very frustrating.

I am also on the same boat, unfortunately. Is there any other alternative who would give such feature called EDIT but NOT DELETE ?

I need the same persmissions. Add and view all. Let me know if you get a solution to this.
- gw_ufdcHelpful | Level 6I need that sort of permissions option also. I need to create a handoff method to collect submissions from anyone with the share link for a folder, but they should not be able to modify anything submitted by someone else. The file request route is insufficient because I need to enable submitters to add the handoff folder to their Dropbox node in File Explorer.

We have a remote editor, who accidentally allowed a "disk cleaner" to wipe all of our major videos files.
Providing read and write access is important, once more, proving your business accounts with the ability to restrict anyone or a member, from delete files in a specified folder would be the next move! It's become way to easy now for F-ups to happen when utilizing cloud storage.
