Missing "Manage Hard Drive Space" option when using Dropbox Backup

So there's a great feature in Dropbox desktop that allows you to see graphically what is taking up all of the space on your hard drive, and very quickly change certain/all dropbox content to online only to free up space.

However, it turns out that if you use Dropbox Backup, that manage feature is disabled.  I don't fully understand why, as using backup as I see it, makes my desktop and documents live in my Dropbox folder set, and can be used as such, with making my own files online to save space.

I appreciate that maybe the Manage Space function may not be able to work against my desktop/documents backup, but I would still expect to be able to manage my main Dropbox Team folder content to release any old offline files easily.

Whaaaaat, is this why the majority of our staff don't have access to this extremely helpful feature?? Somebody at Dropbox needs to update the associated help article with this very important caveat —we figured it was still in a slow rollout phase but hearing this is just frustrating!

If it's due to a concern about somebody completely offloading their backed-up files off their system and then getting grumpy, could the two teams at Dropbox responsible for these features perhaps figure out how to exclude the backed-up folder structure from the "Manage Hard Drive Space" scan? Obviously the Dropbox app itself already knows the name of the made-invisible folder that  stores the backed-up Desktop/Documents/etc folders since it can set the folder as invisible in the file system while still presenting it in the Dropbox Backup interface, so, umm, hardly an unknown quantity……

Just following up again as we still don't have access to this option, and honestly this shouldn't be a "vote for this feature!" idea at all.

After all, the Manage Hard Drive Space feature exists, it's the weird limitation that Dropbox is putting on it for un-communicated reasons that is the real issue.

"Dropbox should explain this feature's unavailability and/or make it broadly known that you won't see this option if you use a different Dropbox feature" isn't as snappy a request I suppose…
