Vacation tips with Dropbox
When it’s time to relax, you want to be able to really relax, and a tiny bit of preparation can make that possible. Now, nobody likes to over plan, it can ruin some of the spontaneity but here are some tips and tricks to make your vacation truly relaxing.
Manage your Dropbox notifications:
Now is the perfect time to look at the number of Dropbox notifications you’re getting and see which ones are truly vital while you’re off. Check out tips here on how to reduce, manage or altogether turn off your Dropbox notifications.
Plan together:
Chances are you’re travelling with someone, either a partner, friends, family or a combination! And no one wants to end up in an ‘I don’t mind, whatever you want to do’ situation so why not use Dropbox to each suggest x number of ideas, and then vote? You can do this in a Dropbox Paper doc to include images, videos, descriptions and you can even tag other people to get their votes in or to answer questions. Collaboration doesn’t only have to be for work!
Plan in advance:
Plan the perfect road trip with Dropbox Paper, or save your travel documents in a travel folder so you never have to worry again! Save maps, reservations and tickets in one folder, and make sure you’re logged in on mobile so you have access anywhere. And I’m not saying you can do this planning in class, or a meeting that could have been an email, but…
Get ready for your photos:
A simple tip to make your trip carefree and to remember it, is to create and share the folders for photos in advance so everyone on the trip can upload their photos to the right place, and you don’t have to explain where it is while you’re poolside. You can also select naming conventions in advance, to keep everything in order, no matter which phone it comes from.
