Is there any news about the smart sync problem with macOS 12.3?

It would be very helpful if Dropbox would publish a status update in some form.
When will the problem be fixed? Timeline?
Many people are wasting their time looking for a solution and from what I read on the forum, many are not aware that smart sync simply doesn't work anymore from macOS 12.3 onwards.
Instead of addressing the problem of smart sync, you integrate funny banners into the software.

Absolutely agree. When is this issue going to be sorted? I have tried all methods to get the supposed early release fix to initiate the move of the Dropbox folder to the CloudStorage folder but it never works and this is on 2 different Mac's.

And now the latest builds actually sort of freezes, so if I hover the cursor over the Dropbox icon in the menubar, I get a giant spinning wheel, so I can't access the app's information and settings.
Really, really poor job, Dropbox...
