No access to old dropbox account. Last used probably 2 years ago..
I have tried to access today my old dropbox (looking for a copy of some old messages from over 10 years ago). Account was set up around 2008-2009 and I accessed this it last time approx 2 years ago....

Hi Sebastian
Unfortunately if you've not logged in for 12 months + then the data on the account has been wiped I'm afraid. So, even if you do manage to get in (note it'll still ask for the code) the account would be empty as though you'd just set it up.

Mark,
Is this some new/recent policy from dropbox?
This account was frequently accessed up until 2014 and I maybe logged in there 3 or 4 times since then.. 2 years ago files were still intact.- Nancy10 months agoDropbox Staff
Hey Sebastian! This isn’t a recent policy; if a Dropbox account hasn’t been used for more than a year, then it’s subject to deletion, as Mark stated above.
Since you’re being prompted to enter the one-time security code though, I’d say you can try contacting our support team directly (with these steps) to see if there’s something more they can do on their end.
