How can an organization wrest contol of its Dropbox account if primary administrator won't comply?

If the administrative functions (say, adding an administrator) of a non-profit's Dropbox account are unavailable because its account's administrator has a medical/neurological/psychiatric condition and won't respond to requests to add an administrator, how can that organization wrest control back its own acct?

  • Take over control of that persons email account (assuming for security you make sure everybody is using an organisational email address you can control) and then reset password to the account and log in.

If, however, that isnt possible your only solution is to contact support if you are a paid customer.

You will have, Im afraid, no way of doing anything if you are a free user other than setting up a new system without the person as admin.

Thank you, that was very helpful.

It seems we are able to easily download the entire account's 20 folders.

Thus, we can easily download the account's 20 folders, open a new one electing this time several admins using our organization's email addresses, and upload those folders.
