Importing files from Dropbox doesn't work when using FCPX.
Any users out there using FCPX noticed they cannot import media into FCPX from Dropbox any more? Files do not show up.

Okay I have solved this with Apple support. Something has changed with DropBox so the Dropbox you see in the home folder is an alias/shortcut., it is not the actual folder. The "real" folder is stored in Home-Library-CloudStorage. Right click on the Dropbox folder there and you can "Favorite" and then the actual older shows up in the Import window.

Hey there, twobeatkick, welcome to our Community!
As a first step, can you clarify the version of the Dropbox app you're using on your device?
I'm asking, cause I'd like to know if this is related to the behavior you mentioned or not. Do you use macOS for File Provider?
If you also happen to have a screenshot of the import screen, that'd be amazing.
Thanks a bunch!
