System icon disappears from Taskbar (Windows 10 Pro)
There's a few topics on this already, but none with my specific issue.
Dropbox app is definitely installed on my Surface Pro and I am actively using it throughout each day. However, the Dropbox...

Had the same issue with version 143.4.4161.
Taskbar icon display option would continually reset after a restart of Dropbox.
Uninstalled Dropbox, reinstalled with an hour per desktop and laptop to re-index files.
The issue has now returned with Dropbox version 144.4.4491.
Note in both cases after an app update, the taskbar setting to select which icons should appear contained two entries for Dropbox
<Dropbox 143.4.4161 and Dropbox>
and now
<Dropbox 144.4.4491 and Dropbox>
After the reinstall only a single entry <Dropbox 143.4.4161> was shown.
The procedure to continually uninstall and reinstall after an app update is not a viable workaround.

I have the same issue as BunkerSoldier.... AGAIN!
Seems to be a programming issue with new updates of Dropbox. Please fix with yet a new update. Thank you.
