Logic Pro X projects stored in Dropbox don't show up in "Recent"
Hi all, this is a niche issue and probably not Dropbox's "fault", but thought I'd ask here just in case.
Since I upgraded to the latest version of Dropbox for Mac (which moved the folder locati...

Hey Christof - are you using the default /Music folder in iCloud or did you move your /username/Music folder into iCloud? I suppose it doesn't really matter? Maybe i move everything to GDrive?

Google Drive has the same issue as Dropbox, so don't move to that. I've also been using iCloud for Logic projects since having this issue. It doesn't matter what subfolder you use.

Wow, this is Apple in a nutshell, they sort of just do what they feel like. The list of changes for using Dropbox on Mac was a rather depressing read. I don’t really trust Apple’s iCloud/cloud services, they have messed up notes and files for me in the past. - simonja2 years agoExplorer | Level 4
Confirming that iCloud storage works for keeping track of recents. This is a necessary feature for me and now contemplating moving back to iCloud. Perhaps that is Apple's plan?

Just beware of this: https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/sixyvx/warning_files_on_icloud_drive_are_not_safe/
This is why I strongly hesitate to switch to iCloud. A few years ago it also deleted notes that I had there, by itself. No possibility to get them back. At least with Dropbox it seems this wouldn't happen and we have file history available and everything.
I'm still using Dropbox for the Logic projects and it works OK except syncing seems to take longer and it stops syncing while using the application. I can live with the missing "recent" history, I've gotten used to it by now actually.
