Logic Pro X projects stored in Dropbox don't show up in "Recent"
Hi all, this is a niche issue and probably not Dropbox's "fault", but thought I'd ask here just in case.
Since I upgraded to the latest version of Dropbox for Mac (which moved the folder locati...

Perhaps I'm blind, but can someone quote me the part in the article where it says Dropbox doesn't support Logic project packages? Because it doesn't say that. I'm starting to think perhaps Megan is a bot
Broken record alert: "Projects" are not "libraries". Libraries indeed are mentioned in the article

Right, Megan's answer isn't accurate. FCPX won't even let you save projects to cloud storage (see screenshot below), whereas as I mentioned in my original post, Logic projects can be saved to iCloud Drive and will show up in Recent if opened from there.
I still think it's more of a general issue with Apple's cloud storage protocols than with Dropbox in particular, because again, projects stored in Google Drive for Desktop have the same issue of not showing up in Recent. But the issue is not, as far as I can tell, that Logic projects can't be stored in the cloud.
- ReDRuMx2 years agoHelpful | Level 6Correct. Another reason I think that Megan's answer is not correct is because - Advanced mega hyper Dropbox support specialist told me so via email :). They said the reason why my projects are not syncing to THE OTHER MACHINE (crucial bit of info) is because my two machines are using different APIs (if someone - including Megan - wants to know why, I can explain).
Point is, Logic projects are being synced to Dropbox, but are not syncing to my other PC.
I was told "they are fixing it".
Megan, kindly, what are they fixing if it's not supposed to work?
Also, I appologise for the assertive tone, but you keep ignoring straightforward questions and keep giving confusing info, which in turn costs people time and effort.
"I'm not sure" or "I don't know yet" are perfectly valid answers. Thanks
