Moving Dropbix from C to D

Using Preferences, I am moving a large Dropbox folder to D from C.  When completed, will Dropbox automatically remove them from C or do I have to?  Right now I still see them on C.

    If the process is successful, your Dropbox will be moved to your D drive. It will no longer exist on your C drive.
