Read that Google Drive has the same issue. So its an Apple thing I'm afraid. iCloud doesn't has this issue and it looks like OneDrive isn't stored in the same library so thats an option too. I'm switching to iCloud.

Same with Synology Nas - If we're forced into using iCloud for this it's a bad move.
