iPhone app shows "Shared Link" alert every time I open the app
For a few months now, every time I open the Dropbox app on my iPhone, I get an alert/popup:
Shared Link
<name of person> shared <folder name> with you
[Dismiss] [View]

I just tried what you suggested and de-installed the app from the iphone, re-installed it and logged in. The alert comes back instantly.
I also check https://www.dropbox.com/share/folders but I can't see the shared folder there.
Any other ideas?

If you tap the notification bell in the app, do you see this notification appear there?

Nope, I see "You have no notifications". I also don't get the notification on the web app.

Hey lanola - sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify your device's exact OS version and the version of the mobile app installed there?
Also, have you tried clearing the app's cache at all since you first noticed this?

I have version 352.2.2 on iOS 16.7.1 on an iPhone 12.
I just tried deleting the cache in the app and „force-quitted“ the app after and after opening it again I got the alert right away.
